Card Holder Channel

 

Research has shown that in general 65% of all mobile banking transactions are Airtime top-ups and 23% of transactions are Balance enquiries. It is with this in mind that iVeri has included a module to allow card holders to interact with their card account.

MiCard is designed to allow card holders to be registered on the iVeri Payment Gateway. Once a card holder is registered they are able, via a SMS, to purchase prepaid products and request a card balance.

The MiCard module on the Payment Gateway will support the following functions:

  • Card holder and handset registration.
  • Transaction limit on prepaid product purchases per user.
  • Purchase of Airtime via SMS
  • Balance enquiry request
  • Change of handset request.
  • Suspension of user.
  • Backoffice support on The Hub’s merchant facility.

Access to MiCard is done through a Web browser.
